Geeks. Yawn.

You’d be amazed at the conversations that can be overheard on Twitter, just when no-one thinks you’re listening. I heard @SimoneBiz say to @mikestopforth out of the corner of her mouth:”just do me?”.

I was also witness to the same @Mikestopforth, coming  off second-best in a battle of wits. He was heard to have remarked ‘you have your laughs, don’t forget the godfather takes notes’.  To which @ExMi apparently replied ‘so does @GossipG33k.’. His reply? ‘Pfffft’. Nice one, Mikey (which according to @EveD, rhymes with ‘Nikey’. ExMi totally takes back her remark about you being verbose.

@nickjackson is selling his car. He announced it on twitter.  Not sure if he was advertising, or announcing. The latter, I hope, because in the very next breath he proceeded to note that ‘the problem with buying second-hand cars is that you know everyone’s had sex in their car, at least once’. Upon further questioning he noted that sex in his own car was not as often and plentiful as he’d have hoped. He then proceeded to pump his Essential Michael Jackson CD and was not available for further comment.

Soulmates are found on Twitter, also. Well, blogsoulmates, anyway. @ExMi found hers in @thomas198729. She proclaimed “every day I love your blog more and more, you’re like a ‘boy’ me”. Such a glory girl, that one. Oh, and also. Her claims of vegetarianism have been proven false by @Garsen, as a tweet in his direction revealed her love for ‘tender, soft and young beef’. We all know you like them younger dear, but calm those hormones already.

@donpackett has been known to make dodgy deals with insurance companies, and also secretly revealed that he will ‘tweet for food’.  He also revealed how seriously high his IQ really isn’t, and how he must be really funny, because it’s not brains that are bringing in the girls. The tweet in question? “People who live in glass houses are idiots”. OMG. Duh.

Apparently @SheBeeGee is hot to trot for @ChristoperM. I hear she pictures him, sitting in front of is computer, completely naked. While we’re on the topic of @ChristopherM and being naked, did you hear he claims to have one big enough to fill a 24″ LCD desktop wallpaper. Go on. Let’s see then. I see you also like foreplay. Got girlfriend?

@Fabulous_Miss_P confessed to having the dreaded kissing virus, and not the good kind. Apparently if you thought herpes was the dreaded kissing virus you were wrong. It’s glandular fever.

@RichMulholland is well on his way to having a head that will explode, showering everyone with lumpy bits of ego. He’s chuffed that two clients this year have moved the conference date to suit his Valpre-drinking rockstar-lifestyle.

@vincenthoffman claimed to be a rent boy, and @anthonia offered to be his pimp. Vince then proceeded to ‘loose’ his temper with the panel beaters, who made a colossal balls-up and wish to charge him for it. Bad grammar, and a bad car day. Sucks to be you.

So you see how much crap people get up to, on Twitter, while they’re pretending to work? Twitter is a full-blown whorehouse. No longer just about self-promotion, we’re now pimping ourselves too.Twitterbation FTW.

And on the note of pimping ourselves, this weeks ‘Pimping Myself Shamelessly Twitter Profile Background Award goes to @mikestopforth. Have you no skaam, Mike?

This week saw most of the above at the tw…  twe-… that charity get-together gig in Jhb and Cape Town.  I’ve already seen the photos on @CraigN’s facebook profile, and if they are anything to go by, I wonder what the Capetonian’s got up to.  8unny was caught biting some tattood chick on the boob.  Just putting it out there…
