Goldfish Live – my golden boys of the moment.

I was listen to 5fm the other month and banging my foot against the desk in time to a tune I’d heard a couple of times before.  “This song actually rocks my world right now,” thought I, out loud, to no one in particular.

Our IT guy happened to be walking passed my office right at that moment and he (being a total techno / electronica freak) kindly informed me that it was “This is how it goes” by Goldfish.  I immediately instructed him to download some more of this “Goldfish person”.  After a few giggles, he looked at me like the n00b I was and explained to me in more detail who these fellows actually are – an electronica act consisting of two Capetonian hotties, Dave & Don.

I’ve since fallen in love with their style, threw shoes at my wall when I managed to miss their Durban tour and I even won tickets from one of my favourite blogger’s for a gig the boys did in November which I sadly had to miss due to a cancelled trip.

Now, you may be wondering why I’ve decided to feature the boys here on NerdMag, but the fact that they have their own twitter account, myspace,  FaceBook group and also update their own website, I’ve chosen to bend the rules and put them in the geek category.  Sexy geeks at that, too.  Also, damnit- I am the Editor around these parts!
