Apple lead the game with the launch of the iPhone. Samsung was hot on the heels with their Omnia, and Blackberry have just rocked up with a Storm.

These phones are cool, they rock, they change the way we use phones. They’re what you really really want. It’s the stuff you dream of touching and playing with.

When it comes to living with these babies, are they really any good? Which does what better that what the others don’t do. You follow?

That’s what we’re gonna find out. Keep an eye open for a head-to-head with these 4 beauties. Grab the RSS feed so you don’t miss it like a doofus.

k first off iPhone was over rated, Omnia was crakalacking good, blackberry I no nothing of and Nokia might be late but they always improve on what the other brands messed up on.

I really agree with CtrlAltDel. I find the iPhone to be really overrated.
I’m loving the Samsung Omnia though! Brilliant phone!

    Hey dude, great article.

I have just upgraded to the sexy beast which is the Nokia 5800 Xpress Music. Not sure why Nokia pushes all their marketing behind music, this phone rocks at all the other things as well.

One thing that is a bit frustrating is that they never added office support. But then again there are apps available online for a few bucks and this handset is so cheap you can easily afford the other add-on apps.

On MTN you pay R149 pm x 24months.
R3576 total price of contract but you get R100 per month airtime – R2400
So in actual fact you get the phone for R1176.00 not bad if you think that it has all the functions of even the most sexy competitor.

Even if some people call the 5800 the poor mans iPhone,
I must say I am very glad I made the jump. Nokia ROCKs!

  6. Good information. Nowadays I just got a Samsung Omnia SCH-i910 inside mail from ebay, and it at present would seem that it’s at stock settings for the Verizon Network. I prepare to use this phone on Metro PCS. I also desire to place Windows Mobile 6.five on here, but I’m not sure which order I must do this in. Should I carry it to Metro PCS as is and have it activated, after which it afterwards flash the ROM with 6.5? Or should I modify the ROM very first and then bring it to Metro PCS? I’ve been looking all around and I’m unable to discover the solution to this.
